Principal photography on Season 7 of CBC’s original comedy series Mr. D – starring comedian Gerry Dee – is now under way in and around Halifax until mid-August. The new season will premiere in fall 2017 on CBC.
This week, 17 Nova Scotian delegates attended the BANFF World Media Festival and Screen Nova Scotia producer/director Teresa MacInnes took home a Rockie Award for her documentary film MABEL.
This decision will negatively affect independent production volume, lead to thousands of job losses, and reduce economic output by hundreds of millions of dollars across the country.
