Screen Nova Studios Inc. (“SNSInc.” or the “Studio”) is a subsidiary of Screen Nova Scotia, a film commission and industry association dedicated to building a strong and sustainable future for the province’s production sector.
Background: SNSInc. was created in 2023 for the purposes of owning and operating Nova Scotia’s first dedicated film and television soundstage. In March 2025, SNSInc. acquired a 20-acre, multi-building property (press release: Soundstage Acquisition).
The Studio has been in full operation since purchasing the property and in August 2025 announced Season 4 of the hit television series Sullivan’s Crossing as tenants (press release: Sullivan’s Crossing).
Request for Proposal: SNSInc. is undergoing a marketing and branding exercise and is seeking proposals from qualified graphic design/marketing companies and/or individuals to help the Studio establish its first brand identity and related materials to market, promote and build awareness of this important facility in Nova Scotia.
The main objective of this project is to increase the Studio’s visibility and establish the facility as a desirable destination for film and television productions. It will also play a vital role in supporting Screen Nova Scotia’s ongoing marketing and promotion of the province as an outstanding location for international productions. It will be essential that this project results in a distinct identity for SNSInc. while retaining the strong and vital connection between the Studio and Screen Nova Scotia.

The selected company will work with SNSInc.’s management team and members of Screen Nova Scotia to develop the Studio’s first brand, marketing and communication assets, including the following:

Evaluation Criteria: The selection of the marketing/design company will be based on factors such as creativity, demonstrated experience, cost-effectiveness, and the ability to meet the full project requirements. Cultural and industry alignment with Nova Scotia’s screen industry will also be considered by the selection committee and Screen Nova Scotia’s board of directors. A final recommendation will be made by the selection committee to the board of directors.
