Congratulations to the many talented Nova Scotians who received a 2017 Canadian Screen Award nomination yesterday! Among the nominated programs are feature films, comedic series, childrens’ programming, animation, variety and news.  The list includes skilled craftspeople, including producers, directors, editors, production and costume designers, writers and performers. Behind these names stands a small army of other screen workers, just as critical to the success of the work being recognized. We’re thrilled to help celebrate these accomplishments and an industry that continues to benefit all Nova Scotians – economically, socially and culturally.

The Canadian Screen Awards celebrates Canadian productions and talent who excel in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes in Canadian film, television and digital media. The awards will be handed out March 7th-9th. Please click HERE for the full Canadian Screen Week schedule.
