Screen Nova Scotia Broadcaster & Distributor Forum

The Screen Nova Scotia Broadcaster & Distributor Forum is a two-day event for emerging and established producers in Nova Scotia to meet with influential Canadian and US broadcasters and distributors.

Formerly managed by Film & Creative Industries Nova Scotia, this event aims to provide Nova Scotia producers with direct access to industry gatekeepers at the national and international level, across all genres.

Day One: (November 15, 2017)

• Interactive Pitch Workshop with Jan Miller
• Information sessions with the National Screen Institute to discuss Feature First Program
• Information session with Telefilm Canada & Canada Media Fund to discuss the Telefilm Micro-Budget Production Program & CMF Funding

Day Two: (November 20, 2017)

• Broadcaster/Distributor introductions
• Pre-scheduled 1-on-1 meetings
• Nova Scotia Closing Reception for all participants + VIP guests

A full list of broadcasters and distributors will be announced closer to the event. Successful applicants will receive this list and make their top meeting selections, which will be scheduled by the SNS team.

There is no fee to apply to or participate in the forum but the applicant must be a member of Screen Nova Scotia.
