Description

Qualified to teach gym class, Gerry Duncan is instead hired in the social studies department of the prestigious Xavier Academy, a private school for kids in grades 5-12. Gerry struggles to stay ahead of his students as he fakes his way through each class, having decided that he knows enough to get by, and he can just improvise everything else. A comedic take on the profession, CBC's "Mr. D" shows teaching from a teacher's perspective and reveals the truth: teachers just don't know everything.

Description

The Book of Negroes is an award-winning CBC / BET miniseries based on the novel of the same name by Canadian writer Lawrence Hill. The series tells the story of a woman forcefully brought to South Carolina from West Africa at the time of the American Revolution. Clement Virgo and Hill collaborated on writing the six-part series, with Virgo also directing. The project was a Canada/South Africa co-production.

Description

As a young man, Harry Dacosta was able to fund his nights of partying by donating at a sperm bank while posing as an Ivy League student. Description

The pool at the facility can perfectly simulate ocean conditions including up to 6ft waves, wind and rain effects, fog conditions, thunder and lightening, and a variety of sound and lighting effects. The facility has been used by various film productions including Sea Change (2016) and The Lighthouse (2018).
