About

This born-and-bread Montrealer relocated to Halifax, by way of Ottawa in November of 2020.

Tiffany discovered writing at the ripe old age of five with her first short story, “Mr. Monkey” (rave reviews, BTW). Thus ensued a lifelong love affair with writing and all things creative. Except painting. Not so much with the painting…

With a few adventures out of her system, Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Carleton University; a sweet complement to her formal training in vocal performance within the University of Texas’ Musical Theatre Program. Outside of her university career, she also successfully completed acting and screenwriting courses at the Ottawa Acting Studio with Allison Graham, as well as numerous acting, screenwriting and industry workshops including with Nathan Estabrooks at SAW Video Media Art Centre, Laura Caswell at Neptune Theatre, Dale Willman via her private coaching studio and with Elizabeth Reeder-Neubauer of Studio E.

After pausing her career to create life (literally), Tiffany returned to her professional goals. She was a Co-Creator and solo Writer on a two-year pilot project with Allison Graham. She also earned praise on her spec scripts from the Reader for CBC’s “The Baroness Von Sketch Show.” Though considerably different experiences, both served as tremendous learning opportunities that fuelled her ambition to grow as a Creator.

Once in Halifax, Tiffany actively engaged in the local creative community and is continually learning about the endless possibilities within the stunning province she now calls home. Tiffany’s become a member of Screen Nova Scotia, Women in Film and Television-Atlantic and the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative, as well as working consistently as a BG actor in various productions filmed in the HRM. She’s also obtained her IATSE Local 849 Set Etiquette Certification. Nova Scotia has stolen her heart and Tiffany is constantly inspired to create film television right here in Atlantic Canada.

With new ideas and goals emerging daily, Tiffany Co-Created and Co-Produced with Patrick Doyle, an adaptation currently in development, “The Smeltdog Man,” based on a fiction novel by beloved Cape Breton Author, Frank MacDonald.

Because her brain didn’t come with an “Off” switch, Tiffany also created and wrote the pilot for a second comedy series, “Duped” and is developing her first comedy short film.

Tiffany is a mom, a wife and an emerging Screenwriter and Producer. She draws inspiration from the world around her, as well as her own experiences living with a cornucopia of autoimmune defects and being an “ADHD Cadet” (it’s more fun with titles). Tiffany is quietly building Creator Type Media: A vida é bonita. 🇨🇦 🇵🇹
