Tieren Hawkins (he/him) is an Atlantic Canadian filmmaker working across narrative film, television, and vertical drama through his company, Sleepy Bear Productions.

He has served as producer and key creative on ten vertical series for platforms including ReelShort, Dramawave, and ShortMax, reaching more than 300 million cumulative views. Notable projects include Forbidden Bonds (Dramawave), the most-viewed vertical series worldwide the week it premiered, and Love in the Ashes of Us (ReelShort). He has also produced vertical content for platforms such as FlickReels and Rizzle.

In the film and television space, Tieren has produced more than 20 hours of scripted and unscripted programming for Canadian broadcasters including CBC, Bell FibeTV1, and TrailerParkBoys+. His first theatrical feature, the psychological horror film Stitches, is slated for release in 2026. His most prominent series include the character-driven comedy King & Pawn and the true-crime anthology Halifax Homicide.

Before entering film and television, he spent nine years in the Canadian Forces in logistics and finance, shaping a disciplined, team-based approach to production that emphasizes efficiency, clarity, and creative problem-solving. He is a two-time Screen Nova Scotia Award nominee and was named one of Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 30 Under 30 Innovators in 2024.
