Sean M. Galway

Seán M. Galway (they/she) is a creative producer, filmmaker, and film programmer based in Halifax & Toronto.

They joined the film industry in Nova Scotia in 2020, beginning with their work the Atlantic International Film Festival as Coordinator of the FIN Partners Co-Production Market. They have programmed for FIN AIFF, Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival ‘After-Images’ and the Toronto Irish Film Festival.

Their film “The Year Long Boulder” (Dir. Brielle LeBlanc, 2022) won ‘Best Atlantic Cinematography’ at FIN AIFF and ‘Best Atlantic Short’ at Silverwave, before playing Telefilm Canada: Not Short on Talent at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.

In 2023, they founded Enodia Films alongside Brielle LeBlanc, with several projects in active development.

Enodia Films is an independent film production company based in Kjipuktuk, Mi'kma'ki co-operated by Seán M. Galway and Brielle LeBlanc.
