As a long-time advocate for our province’s screen industry and an active member of the newly formed Animation Committee for Screen Nova Scotia, I am deeply committed to supporting the continued growth, sustainability, and creative excellence of our local industry.

With my business partner earlier this year, we opened That Animation Company, a new production studio based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The new venture combines decades of expertise in the animation industry with a focus on proactive solutions, client satisfaction, and high-quality animated content.

That Animation Company is designed to meet the evolving needs of clients across diverse sectors, including television, streaming, education, sports, marketing, and more. With a team of talented local professionals, the studio offers comprehensive 2D and 3D animation pipelines, to deliver visually stunning, creative content that consistently exceeds client expectations.

With over 30 years of experience in sales, distribution, and producing animated content for kids and families, I bring a well-rounded understanding of both the creative and commercial sides of our business. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with talented artists, writers, and production teams to bring engaging stories to audiences worldwide. In doing so, I’ve built a solid reputation and lasting relationships founded on trust, integrity, and strong communication with peers and industry leaders across the globe.

One of the key values I bring is the ability to unlock international opportunities that help grow and highlight the exceptional talent within Nova Scotia’s animation industry. By building bridges between local creators and global markets, I strive to enhance the province’s reputation as a hub for high-quality animation and bring meaningful, sustainable work into our region

Our co-founders, Lynn and Steve, saw a gap in the market for a truly boutique animation production studio that delivers results for both production companies for children as well as markets such as educational, marketing, and others, and listened to the needs of our clients.
