Jennifer Comeau

With 20 years of film & television industry experience in distribution, marketing, production and post production, Jennifer is Director of Development at Ocean Entertainment where she is involved in the development and production of all of Ocean’s award-winning television series and documentaries.

She manages Ocean Digital, a full-service post video and audio facility. Jennifer was previously an Animation Producer at Collideascope Digital, Director of Marketing & Distribution with Topsail Entertainment, and Sales & Marketing Coordinator with Salter Street Films. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative, and a volunteer with Women in Film & Television, WIFT-AT.

Ocean Entertainment has produced award-winning television for over 20 years, with a total of over 400 broadcast hours worldwide. Our shows will take you down hidden paths, to the depths of the sea and to delicious destinations around the globe.

Our team is made up of talented, experienced people both in front of and behind the camera, and our full service-production company oversees everything from show development to production, to post-production.

Ocean’s team are experienced service producers, having created series for Discovery US, Investigation Discovery, and Travel Channel. Our local Nova Scotia crews are hard-working and resourceful; always showcasing the very best our province has to offer.

Our shows have appeared on networks like Discovery, HGTV, Food Network, Cooking Channel, CBC, and AMI-TV, just to name a few. Ocean’s recognitions include six Gemini Awards, two James Beard Awards, and numerous film festival prizes.
