Dale Willman

Dale is a actor and acting coach who returned to Nova Scotia in 2021 after spending 4.5 years training and working in Vancouver film. Glad to be reunited with her East Coast family and friends, she was thrilled her first booking back in Nova Scotia was a recurring role on Moonshine Season 2.

Starting in the film industry around 2011, in addition to working as a principal and background actor, she’s worked as an independent casting director, casting assistant and production assistant.

In 2021, Dale’s short film, Invisible, was selected to be part of the AFCOOP Film 5 program. This enabled her to bring the words on the page to life by also directing Invisible. Shot by the amazing cinematographer Jack Leahy, Invisible debuted at FIN Atlantic International Film Festival in September 2022.

Dale has a comedy pilot script and Season 1 synopsis looking for the right producer. She has written other short films and is currently working on a feature script. Directing is definitely on her “must explore further” list and she continues to work towards that goal.

What is her ultimate goal as an actor? To play Melissa McCarthy’s mother someday. HEY – if you’re gonna dream, DREAM BIG!
