Award-winning writer/producer Chris Turner guides the ship at Star Team Studios. His expertise covers animation, gaming, and narrative filmmaking. With a presence in over 90 film festivals worldwide, including the Atlantic International Film Festival (AIFF) and the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and a collection of more than 30 awards, Chris's films speak to audiences on a profound level. His works have also found a home on esteemed platforms like CBC, CBC Gem, Bravo!, and Belfast TV.

A graduate of Dalhousie University, the Vancouver Film School and the CMPA/Telefilm Producer Mentorship Program, Chris's creative reach extends beyond film. His comic book series "Frightmare City," won Best Web Comic at the Sequential Independent Comic Book Awards and his chilling short story "Session 1031" reached number one on Amazon's Horror Fiction charts.

Chris's latest film, the short thriller "Payback," starring Bob Mann and Taylor Olsen, premieres at this year's Atlantic International Film Festival (AIFF).
