Screen Nova Scotia is now accepting applications from mid-to-senior level producers to join a Pan-Atlantic producer delegation trip to London, England from November 30 to December 3, 2026 during Content London.
Please note: This year’s delegation is for documentary and unscripted/factual producers only, as this mission is replacing Realscreen Summit.
Content London is the world’s leading development marketplace and conference. It attracts more than 3000 leading content executives from all over the world, with a focus on creating fresh partnerships around the most progressive ideas and initiatives. Screen Nova Scotia is the lead for this delegation, and a staff member will also be on the ground during the mission to help with logistical planning.
Screen Nova Scotia is presently looking into partnership opportunities with Content London for 2026, which would include benefits for selected producers such a discounted registration.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PRODUCERS
Flights, Accommodations, and Travel Assistance: Producers will be responsible for booking their own travel and accommodations for this trip. Nova Scotia producers can apply for travel assistance (flights, accommodation, and ground transport) via the Creative Industries Fund from the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage. Cost: There is no cost to participate in the delegation. Selected attendees will likely be required to purchase a Festival Badge for Content London.
APPLICATION INFO & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Application Process: To be considered for the Content London delegation, producers must submit interest and materials by 12:00 p.m. AST on September 21, 2026. Please forward your complete application to Danya Knowles, Industry Services & Workforce Development Officer (danya@screennovascotia.com) with the email title “Content London 2026 Information”.
There is no fee to apply.
Mandatory Support Documents: The following documents must be submitted electronically as individual .PDF files in order for your application to be considered.
- Personal resume including relevant film, television & new media production credits
- Company and personal biography
- A synopsis of your project, including a summary of the project’s status to date
- Project treatment and/or series bible
- Statement of all relevant attachments including co-producers, writers, directors, broadcasters (one-page maximum).
Non-Mandatory Additional Package Elements (if available): Applicants are invited to include any of the following additional package elements.
- Completed screenplay
- Bios of any currently attached principal cast and/or key creative positions
- Marketing and distribution plan and any existing marketing materials
- Budget top sheets or proposed budget and finance scenarios
- Statement of all additional attachments including pre-sales, development funding, or confirmed cast etc. (one-page maximum)
Producer Criteria: Mid-to-Senior Level Producers
- This is a producer mission for mid-to-senior-level producers who work in the film and television industry. Please see below for minimum eligibility criteria.
- Must have a minimum of two full producer credits on completed productions within the last five (5) years of the following nature:
- Television one-off production with a minimum broadcast length of 30 minutes.
- Television series production.
- Feature film that a) received financing from Telefilm Canada or NSBI or b) had a budget of $1 million or greater.
- Digital media production that a) received funding from the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada Media Fund, Bell Fund, Independent Production Fund, or NSBI or b) had significant marketplace exposure and/or reputable market partner.
- Must have at least one unscripted/non-fiction project in development.
- Must have participated in at least one international market or festival event (can include provincially led business development trips/trade missions).
- Must be a Screen Nova Scotia Producer Member in good standing (for information on membership, click HERE).
