I’ve recently moved to the Halifax area from Winnipeg, Manitoba, where most of my credits are Gaffer and Camera Op, though I’ve also edited a number of shows currently airing on Superchannel.
Collective Mind Entertainment is my production company, under which I’ve made dozens of short docs and scripted, and feature docs / docudramas. Two highlights are Beyond the Limelight, where I travelled North America with my Grammy Award winning violinist friend James Ehnes while he performed (Kyiv Film Festival Best Music Feature), and I Came Back, a docudrama based on a soldier who was wounded in Afghanistan, where he lost 3 close friends, and his post-war struggle with PTSD (CBC).
My producing partner in Manitoba and I are also looking to leverage the film programs from both provinces, combined with the great MB Tax Credit.
Hoping to meet some great Nova Scotia film people – t’s been a number of years since I’ve had to break into a new film community!
