Shandi Mitchell is a screenwriter/director (The Disappeared) and author (Under This Unbroken Sky, The Waiting Hours) based in Nova Scotia, Canada whose award-winning work has earned national and international recognition. Mitchell has also worked as a mentor instructor, story consultant for AFCOOP, NFB, and Equinox Europe’s International Screenwriters workshop, Austria.
Christopher Porter is a cinematographer, fine arts photographer, and writer based in Nova Scotia, Canada. His filmography as Lighting Director includes Coffee and Cigarettes, Down by Law, Brokeback Mountain, The Shipping News, Breaking the Waves, Kids. Zed Crew, which he produced and shot, was officially invited to Cannes. DOP Feature credits include The Disappeared, Relative Happiness, Roller Town, and Just Buried. His debut short, Sisters won Best Dramatic Story at the Festival of Cinematic Arts, LA. He is currently in post-production on his next short, The Dare.
