About

Natalie is an enthusiastic and hardworking visual artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She holds a diploma of Visual Arts and Design from Grande Prairie Regional College (2016-18) and has experience in areas involving production assistant, background acting, photography, editing, graphic design, illustration and other administrative work. She has received many scholarships and awards regarding her dedication and artwork including first place in Adobe x Disney’s Emoji As Told By You international graphic art competition (2017). Since graduating, she has worked as a production assistant, background actor, and designer in the film industry as well as a freelance graphic designer and photographer, Public Programs and Exhibitions Assistant and Art Gallery Assistant at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie (Grande Prairie, AB), and Art Gallery Assistant at Teichert Gallery (Halifax, NS).

Natalie has recently completed her Set Etiquette, DGC Fundamentals, Set PA Fundamentals, Building a Respectful Workplace, and WHMIS training. She is currently listed as a DGC-ARC Permittee and IATSE Local 849 Referral. She is a versatile learner capable of understanding and grasping new concepts quickly and thrives in fast-paced environments. She is passionate about pursuing a career in film and is seeking opportunities to grow and develop her skills and interests from industry professionals.
